Robert Ivey Ballet
Robert Ivey Ballet is a prolific company that is primarily interested in furthering all modes of dance – education through outreach to the community. The repertoire is produced by the Senior Company of the Robert Ivey Ballet, consisting of classically trained men and women. The Youth Ballet ages 9-13, develops artistic promise while learning the joys of dance. Through the “Young Audience Series” we lecture demonstrate in area schools and reach more than 5,000 school children yearly. Our long-range goals include continued expansion of our touring program and to stabilize the company through continued audience development, outreach programs, and teaching. Robert Ivey Ballet is Charleston’s only international touring company.
