The Village Playhouse
The Village Playhouse and Repertory Company, now in it's eighth year, is a professional non profit theatre organization, producing drama, comedy, and musicals. Located East of the Cooper, the Village presents contemporary and classic works with a special emphasis on the best plays of the 20th century. Our aim is to bring lesser known great works to life in an intimate environment for a new generation of theatre goers. We create theatre for our community, from within our community- working primarily with Charleston's local ensemble of actors and artists.
